Northernair Lodge – Ely, MN

Welcome to Northernair Lodge located in the heart of Superior National Forest, and just 4 miles from downtown Ely. 

Northernair is the only resort on pristine Mitchell Lake, which gives us the luxury of a very private lake. We have the only boat launch on the lake, and it is restricted to our guests only. There is no public access to Mitchell Lake. This keeps the lake quiet, and the fishing fantastic.

You will find the cabins at Northernair beautiful and unique – each one is a favorite to our regular guests who return year after year.  Most all are lake front, and have their own dock and fire pit as well as your modern conveniences and amenities. The cabins are nestled among the trees, well spaced and offer gorgeous lake views. 

Complementary Wi-Fi internet access is available in our main lodge.

Many people return to Northernair year after year because of the peace and quiet it guarantees. Others return for the fabulous fishing and the wonderful sandy beach that the kids enjoy.
